Skye Hair Salon

Skye Salon is a full-service hair salon specializing in cutting, coloring, styling, and facial waxing. Established in 2012, we are located in Arlington Heights, IL at the corner of Arlington Heights Road and Rand Road in the Northpoint Shopping Center inside Salons by JC.

Wendi is the owner and hairstylist and her fun salon suite is inviting and welcoming. From relaxing head massages to a glass of wine and chocolate, you can wind down and enjoy the visit. You can rest assured that tools, accessories, and capes are cleaned and sanitized after every client, and surfaces are wiped down and sanitized frequently so there is no worry of cross-contamination. 

Haircuts and colors always include a shampoo and blow dry to ensure we have the best possible outcome. Hair treatments are customized to your needs. Full consultations are done and take into account your lifestyle and the strength of your hair because we want to make sure your hair stays healthy and beautiful. 

Waxing services are done with new wax sticks every dip and always conclude with a soothing gel to make your treatment more comfortable. 

We use Matrix hair color and Aquage, Surface, GK Hair, and IGK Products to help keep your hair looking its best. Olaplex, K18, GK Hair, and Malibu treatments are used when called to help keep your hair healthy.

Meet the Owner
Hi and welcome! I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 18 years specializing in hair cutting, coloring, styling, special occasion styles, and facial waxing. I’ve been in business since 2012 and I will work with you to find not only a style and color that suits you but that also fits in with your lifestyle. I keep educated on the latest trends and have taken Master Cutting and Coloring Classes with Aquage and Surface. I am certified in keratin treatments through GK Hair. My suite is located inside Salons by JC. You’ll find it by looking for the purple room. Purple is my color because it is majestic and I consider my client royalty. I do full consultations and listen to my client; together we find the cut, color, and style that works best. Having a salon suite, I’m focused on you, the client. My suite is clean and sanitized and all of my tools, accessories, and capes are cleaned and sanitized after every client. I use Matrix hair color and use and retail Aquage, Surface, Olaplex, GK Hair, and IGK products. If you have a favorite, however, just let me know. I’m always open to trying new products. I would love to meet you and bring out the best in your hair!
